“ My wife and I were out on our Saturday new restaurant jaunt and we were denied lunch at three places, so I have always wanted to try Sandy's. We entered and it is a very old school dive in deep Richfield Minnesota. Our server was nice and I ordered a Size 7 IPA and my wife got a Diet Pepsi. No Diet Coke, Boo. Solid IPA from St. Louis Park. I don't drink hard liquor, but I only saw beer and wine here and none at the bar, so not sure. I ordered the Richfield cheesesteak. It wasn't cut in half, weird, but the meat was piled on high and lots of caramelized onions and green peppers and the bun was perfect. Really juicy meat and moist veggies. The ambience is very 1960 Richfield. I would probably usually give it a 3, but since there is no 3 1/2, for what it is, I will give it a 4. ”
